When Missouri takes the court this season, the college basketball world will be watching closely to see whether the team is prepared give the kind of effort they put up last year, when they made a huge run at the Big 12 championship. This is a team that wasn’t expected to make it anywhere much jumped into the top tiers of the league. In the offseason, several of their top players left, leaving only two or three of the guys who had proven their clutch playing abilities in the tournament. These could of guys will be leading the team this year and trying to put together the same kind of teamwork that they had last time around. They will work late at night and push themselves to reach their potential again, just like they did last year. That’s how they got last second shots against Texas and Kansas, regional rivals who are two of the most successful teams in the NCAA. It will be interesting to see if the team will be able to pull it out once again this season, especially when we get into January and February.
