Battle of Trojans

The USC Trojans lost a player this week as Leonard Washington was declared academically ineligible for the basketball season this year. This isn’t a huge loss, but it is a loss. Washington has been an important part of the team, with a good scoring average recently. He has had trouble with academic requirements for awhile and he has been in some trouble with his actions on the court. He once hit an opposing player in the groin and was ejected. All kinds of problems have followed this guy. Hopefully, though, he can roll it back a little bit and get back onto the court again soon!
