Battle in Wichita

While the title of this entry makes it sound like there’s some kind of game going on in Wichita with NCAA basketball players, it is kind of a trick. There is a big debate going on in Wichita these days about whether the city should open itself to the possibility of hosting NCAA Tournament games during the next few years. The article that I ran into said that they should work to get some of these games, because it brings people into the area, not just for those couple of weeks in March, but all year long. To have a tournament-level stadium in town can also give you the chance to host other big events over the course of a year, including circuses, concerts, and other shows. How about that as a possibility?
