Pitino Still in Louisville

Rick Pitino has retained his job at the University of Louisville for the next season. There were big questions on that front this week when it was revealed that he had a brief intimate relationship with a woman several years ago. She appeared recently trying to extort a large sum of money from him as a result of this encounter and he ended up having to tell police about the encounter. There are also rumors that he paid her to get an abortion, probably resulting from this encounter. Meanwhile, she was accusing him of raping her repeatedly. Anyway, the details get complicated, but the salient points are that he has kept his job, admitted to several things and is trying to make things better. We’ll have to see how this all shakes out as it moves forwards.
