University of Connecticut Huskies, UConn, has reported 17 minor violations of their own to the NCAA. This helped them to get out of the chance of trouble and scandal. It turns out that there are almost always minor violations every year. These are small violations and certainly for them to bring it up themselves is better and they most likely wont get in such big trouble. The violations are things like overpaying meal money and having an injured player get driven back to the hotel by an employee rather than having to get his own ride back. This is an odd story to see. It wont result in any big penalties or anything like that. They didn’t make any huge mistakes that debalanced everything.
