Gambling States Punished

There are only a couple of states in the union in which a person has the ability to bet on single sports games. This is to say, they offer it officially and legally. The NCAA basketball world has decided that championships will not play in those states. They wont schedule the tournaments in those states, because of their policy against gambling of any kind. This is a good choice, because this will help protect the players from undue influence and from getting involved in financial issues like that. This can become dangerous for people. Just imagine shady deals where a gangster comes up to an NCAA player and tells him to throw the game. No way! Let’s keep that gambling out of the equation.
