How to Make a National Champion Part 2

I don’t like to just follow other people’s blogs and take too many of their ideas. But this particular series is so intriguing that it’s hard to avoid it. Last time he wrote, he said that for a college team to compete, it had to have several players who can hit 10+ points per game. Almost combined with that, having a lot of people who can hit 3 pointers is also important. Not every player is very good at getting the 3 pointers but it’s a good thing to have a bunch of players that will hit threes all the time. This helps combine with the high scoring players to get the team all the way into the tournament and perhaps all the way to the championship. Each of the last 5 teams to win the championship has had at least 5 players who hit 35% accuracy on three pointers or better. If that’s not proof, I don’t know what is!
