Several days ago, the NCAA Women’s championship was played and guess who won! Connecticut. On the men’s side, they were disappointed when they lost in the Final Four and that was the end of the line for them. Their coach’s job may now be in jeopardy. But the Women Huskies beat Louisville and completed their own undefeated season and won the championship on April 7. Their team was very strong and just couldn’t be taken out by any of their opponents this year. Louisville was the defending champion team, I think, but they were unable to put up a real defense against UConn.
