Marquette Falls

Missouri vs Marquette. It was one of the less watched games of the tournament so far, because these aren’t flashy teams. They’re just good playing teams and you don’t have to worry about them playing badly too much. But yesterday, there were some great players on the floor. Kim English, a freshman at Missouri, came up really big yesterday. He scored 15 points in 4.5 minutes during the game and really showed himself to be a kind of leader. It’s an exciting time for him and a great game to see. One of the lowlights, however, was Lazar Hayward’s haywire inbound pass attempt with just a few seconds to go. He accidentally stepped on the line before he passed it in and thus turned over the ball. So Marquette had to foul and that pretty much iced the game for Mizzou. Nice game though.
