Illinois Can’t Pull It Out

The Illinois Fighting Illini have been beaten by the Penn State Nittany Lions. It’s an unfortunate loss, but it wasn’t very far from a win. They were ahead by 10 with five minutes left, but Penn State staged a big comeback, with a last second shot that put them ahead. Penn State feels that this is a good chance for them to have proven that they can be put in the NCAA tournament later this month. Illinois seems to be destined to enter the tournament without problems. We’ll have to see what happens!
