Gonzaga

We all knew that Gonzaga was going to play really well this season. They aren’t #1 and they probably won’t make the Final Four. They are ranked #16 in the country. But last night, they beat Loyola Marymount by almost 40 points to win the WCC Championship. It wasn’t a really fair game, because Loyola came in with a national-worst 34% shooting percentage, so that’s where the 40 points went. Their coach agreed that it was simply a mismatch, where there weren’t many holes, defensively or offensively, for them to challenge them on. So Gonzaga has their regional championship and will certainly enter the tournament next month.
