Number 1 Adversity

The #1 University of Connecticut Huskies remain number one in the nation for the moment. But they are going to have to hold down the fort without Jerome Dyson, one of their main Junior guards. He bashed knees with a player at Syracuse and ended up with a torn meniscus in his knee. The MRI revealed that it was fairly severe, bad enough for him to need surgery in the next couple weeks. His return is very uncertain, and his teammates and coaches seem to be talking mostly in terms of his return for next season. After all, there is only about 6 weeks left in this season, all the way to the Final Four that is, and recovering from knee surgery like that isn’t likely to be that quick. So we wish him the best recuperation.
