Hansbrough Breaks, Will Shatter Record

Going into the matchup against Evansville, Tyler Hansbrough only need 9 points to surpass Phil Ford’s all-time points scored record for UNC. En route to the comfortable 91-73 victory for the Tar Heels, Hansbrough easily scored 20. With his ninth point of the game, Tyler has solidifed his spot among the legacy of Tar Heels greats like Jordan, James Worthy, and Antwan Jamison. But this early in the season, Hansbrough seems set on not only breaking, but shattering the record. If his season is anything like his past one, the record may be out of reach for quite some time…
