Underdog Upsets

The Arizona Wildcats were done. They lost Lute Olsen and seemed to be sinking. Well don’t count them out yet. They beat out #4 Gonzaga 69-64 last night. They are pushing to hit it hard. They certainly weren’t expected to win that game, and they are unranked. But their record is 7-2, which compared to Gonzaga’s 7-1 isn’t all that bad. They will have to continue to push themselves, but a couple players had career nights last night and this is where it’s headed. They used a very tight defense to tire out Gonzaga and to get them to make mistakes. So they won this close game and may be up-and-coming yet again.
