Number 6 nationally ranked Texas Longhorns added yet another victory to their record Tuesday night after comfortably winning over number 15 Villanova. Texas, now 7-1, received strong play from A.J. Abrams (26 points) and Damion James (16) en route to their 67-58 victory in the Jimmy V Classic. Though Villanova closed the gap with about 10 minutes left in the second half, that’s when Abrams put up many of his points and helped keep the Longhorns comfortably in the lead. Villanova is now 8-1.
