How far they’ve fallen

Last year, UCLA was one of the top four teams in the nation, with a Final Four appearance to back up that claim. This year, however, they seem to have fallen from grace. Initally ranked at number 12, UCLA suffered a hard fought loss to the number 8 Texas Longhorns. Perhaps it was losing Kevin Love that hindered their ability to play well inside the paint, but UCLA couldn’t close the gap with the time winding down and they ultimately lost 68-64. This is already their second loss of the season.
