Memphis is Early Favorite

In the preseason NCAA basketball polls, Memphis is once more picked as a preseason favorite in the Conference USA. The Tigers are in search of winning their fourth-straight Conference USA title, as well as extending their 33-game regular season win streak. In the past three seasons, Memphis has posted a 45-1 record in Conference USA (with a sole loss coming at the hands of UAB) during the regular season, and 54-1 when including postseason games. The Tigers are also among the handful of teams expected to win the Final Four Tournament.
