He’s only a freshman basketball player at the University of Connecticut but he’s already given the Huskies some bad publicity after being arrested last week. Nate Miles was arrested on the 25th of September after violating the conditions of his restraining order.

On September 22nd, Miles was given a court ordered restraining order protecting an anonymous party. Three days later, he breached the conditions of the court order when he telephoned the protected party. The 6′7″ Huskies forward was detained until he posted a $2,500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on the 30th for an initial hearing.

The UConn basketball program has released a statement only acknowledging the fact that Miles has been arrested. Other than that, they have no comment on the situation.
