In last year’s NCAA Final Four Tournament, Stephen Curry and his Davidson Teammates nearly completed the Cinderella Story. This Southern Conference school, with about 1,700 undergraduates, made it to the Elite Eight, and nearly beat out the eventual champions Kansas to advance to the Final Four.

Much of the credit is due to Stephen Curry’s simply brilliant performances.

Now, in the off-season, Curry is proving that it was no fluke and that he is definitely not a flash-in-the-pan. Earlier in July, Curry attended the four-day Lebron James Skills Academy at the University of Akron in Ohio. There, Curry and his pickup team played full-court scrimmages against Lebron and his team, which included Chris Paul, New Orleans Hornets superstar.

In the end, Curry’s team won twice, Curry ending the first game by sinking a three-pointer. Afterwards, James and Curry exchanged numbers.

Perhaps he was just getting the number of a future teammate.
