Ernie Kent to stay in Oregon till 2012-13 season

The extension of contract signed by the basketball coach Ernie Kent and Oregon University means that the famed NCAA basketball coach will be controlling the boys of the Oregon University until the 2012-13 season. Kent’s previous contract with the Oregon University was till 2010 and this new contract will see him earn an additional salary of $ 350,000. The head coach has performed really well in his tenure so far and the Oregon athletic director is hoping that his team features in many more NCAA tournament appearances under him. Ernie Kent said that he was happy with the new extension contact and that he hoped to bring many more laurels to Oregon in the coming years. There is no doubt that the Oregon fans will be rushing to grab their copy of tickets to their team’s games.
