It was a time of celebration for the University of Kansas after 20 long years! They have become the 2008 NCAA basketball champions. It was in 1988 that the University of Kansas won the title last. This 2008 win earned them a trip to the President’s Oval Office where they celebrated their victory in the honored Rose Garden ceremony which is given every year to the NCAA basketball champions. They must have been encouraged to do better after the talk by President Bush. The president interacted with the coaching staff and the players appreciating their efforts. Not enough, the Jayhawks presented President Bush with basketball jersey and a ball cap.
