The 2008 NCAA basketball champion side of University of Kansas had a rare opportunity of visiting the Oval Office of President Bush. They were invited to the Rose Garden ceremony as it a custom that the President of United States every year honors the NCAA basketball champions. The Kansas University won the title for the first time since 1988 and the joy on the players, coaching staff and management told many stories. President Bush appreciated the efforts put in by each and everyone involved with the Kansas University basketball team and his talk with the players and coaching staff would have certainly inspired them to scale even greater heights. One can be sure that the Kansas University fans will be rushing to the ticket counters to purchase their tickets during the next season.
