Jarvis strikes a deal with Florida Atlantic

Florida Atlantic and Mike Jarvis have finally come to an agreement whereby Jarvis will be named as their new coach. Thanks to the Owls, Jarvis dry season will finally end after being canned by St. Johns five years ago. Although it has been verbally agreed, they must wait for the university’s trustees to give their stamp of approval so that the four year contract will be finalized. Jarvis has been roped in the fill the Owl’s coaching position as Rex Walters calls it quits after merely two seasons. He left them to take up a coaching job for San Francisco.
