The West Virginia basketball team as well as the fans is thrilled to bits on hearing the news that their coach has signed an 11 year old contract which will keep him busy with the Virginia team until he is 65 years old. The deal finds Huggins richer by $1.5 million every year and will also be receiving incentives. Huggins said that he was pretty pleased to have signed the contract and feels honored to be part of the West Virginia team.

Huggins had earlier signed a five year contract with the Virginia basketball team in 2007 and under his coaching the Mountaineers has entered into the third round of the NCAA tournament for the third time in last four years. Huggins, who has received rare reviews for his coaching, wants to see his team win the national championship and is motivated to lead his team to the final four this season.
