Obama Hoops Up With UNC

It is a well known fact that the politically active Senator Obama is a basketball fan. Growing up as a racially mixed youth, he made use of his love for basketball to blend in well with other kids his age. But when the 46 year old presidential hopeful played with the North Carolina Tar Heels earlier on this week, he joked that his skills might be a little bit rusty as he felt that “these guys are lot better than me”.

The eloquent candidate is hoping that this friendly match will help attract the public’s attention away from unsavory news, especially of those spread by one Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s former pastor. The Reverend’s recent allegations are threatening to badly affect Obama’s support from white working class voters. Last Friday’s game saw Obama successfully scoring four baskets, one of which was a left handed 3-pointer.
