Kansas gives a hammering to the Red Raiders

Kansas City was responsible in handing over a humiliating defeat to the Red Raiders last Monday night, as they thrashed the Raiders 109-51 and the 58 point margin loss has made it to the record books as the worst loss margin ever for the Red Raiders. The rookie coach of the Raiders, Pat Knight, who took over the coaching job from his dad, Bob, was seemingly upset with this humiliating loss and came harsh on his players for not showing any intention to fight their way through into the game. Pat’s counterpart, the coach of Kansas, Bill Self, was gleaming with joy and had all his reserve players play a part in this one sided game.

Bill said that he had hard feelings for Pat and apologized to him after the game as nobody will like to be in such a situation. Knight was a total dejected man that night and said that he could only instill a few ideas to his boys during time outs, but it is their responsibility to put these ideas into practice. The Kansas City has been unbeaten in their historic Allen Field house stadium for 14 games at a stretch and the disappointment of losing this Big 12 championship game will always linger in the minds of the Red Raiders.
