Texas A&M tastes defeat in the hands of Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State who were on a losing streak for the past two years have surprised the formidable Texas A&M team by defeating them convincingly with a score line of 59 to 54. The Oklahoma Cowboys made glory be ending their 16 game loosing record and handing the Texas their first defeat in six consecutive games. The Cowboys last won 63-61 at Kansas City on 4th Feb in 2006. The Cowboys coach, Sean Sutton, was obviously pretty pleased with the boys’ performance and said that this win will be more than pleasing for the players as well as the patient fans.

Byron Eaton was the star performer for the Oklahoma State as he got 17 points and his two free throws with nine seconds left sealed the victory for the Cowboys. Eaton said that defeating the Aggies gave him a very good feeling and above all the Cowboys have put an end to their winning drought. The coaches of both the teams acknowledged that Eaton was the key player in the match. Eaton acknowledged the fact that it was a great day for the Cowboys. The record crowd of 13,584 who witnessed the game could not have asked for a better drama even though their team figured in the loosing side.
