As a famous Duke University coach, the original commissioner for another aspiring conference, and a member of the college basketball committee, Vic Bubas influenced the game regardless his job position. His hard work was rewarded yesterday with his profession’s highest honor. Vic Bubas, who is a Sun City Hilton Head resident for the past eleven years, will join an elite group that includes Dick Groat and Lefty Driesell as members of the 2nd induction class into the NCAA Basketball Hall of Fame in Kansas City, Mo.
