NCAA BasketballThe Maui Invitational has become well known around NCAA basketball as the unofficial tip-off of the new year. In its twenty-fourth year of existence, this competition has become an early season evaluation of some of the best teams and talent around the United States. Since the tournament’s start, seventy-nine schools representing twenty conferences have competed in the EA Sports Maui Invitational. There have been fifty-three NCAA champions, fifty-three national runner-ups, and the tournament fields have been composed of over two hundred Final Four teams.
